CONFERENCE INFORMATION :
CONFERENCE SITES: The Conference Sites will be, for Thursday, June 26, and Friday, June 27, the Beaumier Suites B& C in the Raynor Memorial Library (1355 West Wisconsin Ave) and, for Saturday, June 28, and Sunday, June 29, the Alumni Memorial Union (AMU, 1442 West Wisconsin Ave, Ballroom A). Click here for information about visitor parking at Marquette (though the conference hotels provide parking and are all walking distance from the Raynor Library & Union).
Note: Driving to Marquette University might be affected by the ongoing reconstruction of the Marquette Interchange. Please check the above links for travel directions on the day of your departure for Marquette.
We have reserved a room block at the Ambassador Hotel and its smaller spin-off Ambassador Inn, both within walking distance to the conference location and downtown. The conference rate for the Ambassador Hotel ranges from $ 109 (single occupancy) to $ 129 (quad occupancy) and the rate of for the Ambassador Inn ranges from $ 89 (single occupancy) to $ 109 (quad occupancy). On-campus housing is available from $ 49.15 (single occupancy) to $ 95.60 (quad occupancy). Rates include breakfast. TRAVELING TO MARQUETTE UNIVERSITY (& DOWNTOWN MILWAUKEE) FROM MILWAUKEE'S MITCHELL AIRPORT:

* Expect a taxi to cost around $30 or a bit more due to fuel costs.
Most convenient: Airport Connection shared
ride van serves a frequent loop of most downtown hotels ($12-15).
* Cheapest: MCTS route 80 serves 6th St. downtown, next to the Midwest Airlines Center and nearby hotels. Travel time is 25 minutes, only a few minutes longer than taxi or van. From there it is a 15-minute walk to the Conference Site.
