One Bubbler, Two Bubbler
By Erica Polzin and Jenny

From there to here,
From here to there
Funny things
Are everywhere.
One bubbler,
Two bubbler,
Maroon bubbler,
Blue bubbler,
Tall bubbler,
Short bubbler,
Gold
bubbler,
Twin bubbler.
This one has silver and
green,
This one is free standing!
Say! What a lot of bubblers there are!
Yes, some are tall and some
are twin
And some are short and
some are green.
Some are for adults or
children,
BUT THEY DEFINITELY ARENíT
A WATER FOUNTAIN!
Why are they called a bubbler
you ask?
I do not know,
Iíll give you a task.
Go to Britannica
to learn, if you want, itís not hard,
A bubblerís ìa drinking
fountain from whichÖwater bubbles upward.î
Itís not a fish of the Ohio
River
Or a person who cheats,
as Websterís
claim,
In Wisconsin bubblers are
what we drink from,
And Kohler
Company is where it got its name.
From there to here,
From here to there,
Funny things,
Are everywhere.
Itís not a scientific
apparatus
That gives atmospheric
pressure relief,
Itís not a Deep Water Culture
unit
For growing plants with
many a leaf!
Itís
not a Yellowtone Park attraction,
Or an online video puzzle,
Itís just a bubbler with
refreshing water,
That every Wisconsinite
likes to guzzle.
Itís not a mini jukebox
that belts out tunes,
That Wurlitzer calls the
ìSoda Fountain of Youth.î
Itís not that Wisconsin
Online Magazine
TO CALL ANYTHING ELSE A
BUBBLER IS SO UNCOUTH!
