Kinematics: Speed

Speed - Average and Instantaneous

Average:

Definition of Average Speed

Instantaneous: limit of v = l/t for small values of t. Slope of line tangent to time-distance curve.

Constant speed: Always same distance in same time interval, and instantaneous speed same as average speed.
