UNIFORMLY ACCELERATED MOTION
For constant straight line motion (s0, s, v0,
v, a, t) :
if set ti = 0: a = (v - v0)/t and
v = v0 + at
mean speed: vav = (v0 + v)/2
Equations of Constant acceleration:
- v = v0 + at
- s = s0 + vavt = s0 + (v0
+ v)t/2 = s0 + v0t + at2/2
- v2 = v02 + 2as
For motion along general path with constant aT
:
- l0 , l, v0,
v, aT, t
- Same equations as before, but with l and aT
- Use path length; recall that straight line equations use
displacement
