page 47: “. . . So it is clear that the nature of man, considered absolutely, abstracts from every being, but in such a way that is (correction => it) prescinds from no one of them; and it is the nature considered in this way that we attribute to all individuals.”

page 52: “In a soul or intelligence, therefore, there is no composition of matter and form, understanding matter (Leonine critical edition correction=> essentia “essence”) in them as it is in corporeal substances.”
